At our upcoming symposium, Routes To Progress, we are bringing together unique perspectives on sustainability at work. Ann Tartre is one of those perspectives. Ann will be sharing her experience with us on both Monday and Tuesday. Get to know her better below.
Meet Ann Tartre
Most recently as Executive Director of the Equinox Center, a regional sustainability think tank in San Diego, Ann Tartre oversaw the organization’s research and policy agenda, produced the annual San Diego Regional Quality of Life Dashboard, and created a new network, Leaders 2020, to engage the region’s Millenials in advancing sustainability and quality of life in San Diego County. Prior to her work in California, Ann served as the Director of Donor Services at the Maine Community Foundation, where she was instrumental in initiating the Environmental Funders Network.
Ann’s session will focus on helping non-profit and business managers determine what matters to employees, customers and the community, as well as how to start tracking your economic, environmental and social impact so you can move toward continuous improvement. Building off the example of Goodwill’s “What Matters” survey and a case study from the San Diego region, she will walk through the process of how to conduct a “materiality” assessment, identify focus areas, data collection and targets. Participants will leave with concrete tools they can use in their organizations to elicit feedback from stakeholders and initiate a regular report on progress.
Join us – come for all three days, or just one!
For Monday’s single day ticket the conversation focuses on measuring what matters to your employees. Hear case studies and learn how to create a culture of coaching at your own organization. Click through to see the full symposium schedule and register.
